About Caribbean Anchor

A clearer way to approach Caribbean property.

Caribbean Anchor was created for people making serious decisions from a distance. We bring property discovery, destination context and the route to trusted local advice into one considered experience, beginning in Antigua & Barbuda.

Why we began

Buying abroad should not begin with guesswork.

Property information is often fragmented across listings, government pages, local knowledge and private conversations. Important distinctions can disappear: a property is not the same thing as its current commercial Listing, a headline price is not a complete acquisition cost, and an introduction is not professional advice.

Caribbean Anchor brings those pieces together without pretending the process is identical for every buyer. We show what is known, what needs confirmation and where independent lawyers, licensed agents, tax advisers, surveyors and government authorities must take over.

What Caribbean Anchor does

A discovery platform with a deliberate handoff.

We combine editorial context with a small, review-led set of property opportunities and partner conversations. The platform is not a public directory of every provider or a substitute for regulated advice.

Property discovery

See the opportunity in context

We present approved opportunities with source, status and commercial context. A development or category opportunity does not guarantee that a particular unit is available.

Buyer education

Prepare the right questions

Guides explain the stages, documents and decision points that international buyers should discuss with their own professional advisers.

Introductions

Move to the right human contact

Caribbean Anchor reviews an enquiry before any authorised handoff. An enquiry is not a reservation, offer, contract or automatic distribution to external agents.

Why Antigua & Barbuda

Deep local context, beginning in Antigua & Barbuda.

Antigua & Barbuda is our foundational market. The Eastern Caribbean dollar is pegged at EC$2.70 to US$1 by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. Foreign ownership routes, tax treatment, fees and approvals depend on the buyer, property and transaction, so broad summaries must be confirmed with current authorities and independent advisers.

Destination

The place around the property

Harbours, neighbourhood character, schools, healthcare and practical island life sit alongside each property journey.

Transaction

A process buyers can follow

Plain-language stages make it easier to prepare the right questions for agents, lawyers and advisers.

The Anchor standard

Useful before persuasive.

Property integrity
A property remains distinct from every commercial Listing.
Source context
Important claims retain a visible route back to their source.
Human review
Local and commercial details are reviewed before they are treated as ready for publication or handoff.
Buyer control
Introductions happen deliberately, with the buyer's context and consent preserved.

How we work

Review the details. Keep responsibility visible.

Property partners must provide authority to market, accurate property identity and rights-cleared material before an opportunity is prepared for review. Editorial and authorization review takes place before publication. We do not treat scraped availability, ambiguous media rights or an unverified professional profile as a live offer or endorsement.

Caribbean Anchor may receive commercial consideration under partner or referral arrangements, where applicable. Commercial relationships do not replace source checks, disclosures or independent advice, and exact terms vary by arrangement. The current site does not operate a fully populated public professional directory or automated partner-feed system.

When you submit an enquiry, Caribbean Anchor records the details needed to review it and may share relevant information with an authorised developer, owner, agency or professional adviser only after review. There is no current marketing opt-in or newsletter service.

Our mission

Give international buyers enough clarity to move well.

Our role is to make the early and middle stages of a Caribbean decision easier to understand: where to look, what to verify, which route may apply and who needs to be involved next.

We begin in Antigua & Barbuda, working market by market rather than filling a map with thin content. The wider Caribbean vision will follow the same standard.
